MON. JUNE 2nd: Exploring Lost Wax Workshop
Monday, June 2nd; 6-9pm

In this workshop, students will explore the tools and techniques of lost wax, one of the mould-making processes for casting metal jewelry. We’ll be carving jewelry (or other small artwork) from blocks of wax. Tools and materials will be provided. Skills will include: sawing, filing, sanding. No experience required.
Please note: We don’t have the set-up to cast at the studio yet. Students may take their wax carving home with them, or leave it at our studio to be cast in the future.
WHAT TO BRING:
Water bottle (we have a refill station)
Notebook
Mug for tea
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
No loose clothing
Hair must be tied back
Jewelry must be removed
Safety glasses must be worn (provided)
Age 18+
